We are looking for committed professionals to help guide and shape the future of African innovation. If you’re passionate about startups, research, or AI-driven problem-solving on the continent, please apply to support as a reviewer and/or a judge for the 5th edition of the Ideathon here. 

The Deep Learning Indaba’s Ideathon is a dynamic platform where innovators from across Africa team up to develop machine learning projects tackling pressing challenges from strengthening climate resilience to improving healthcare access with AI-powered tools.

We are looking for your support as a reviewer or judge to assess this year’s team projects across key criteria: feasibility, potential impact, team diversity, and relevance to the Deep Learning Indaba's mission.

We have a two-part process this year, allowing you to contribute in the way that best suits your schedule:

• Asynchronous Reviewing: 7 – 17 October 2025

• Live Q&A Sessions (Judging): 4 – 10 November 2025
