Hi everyone!
Anthropic is a new AI safety and research company organization focused on building reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We're hiring and we'd love to hear from you!
I joined a few months ago, and I've been having a fantastic time. In addition to having a healthy management culture, supportive feedback, and an explicitly collaborative approach to research (in my experience!), we also have a comfortable density of talented women in technical roles, and in leadership roles we have Daniela Amodei as our president.
I recommend checking out our website where you can read more about our research principles, see links to past work that might give a sense of our approach, and read about the roles available. We’re hiring for a number of different roles, including in Research Engineering, ML Systems, Infrastructure, Societal Impacts, our Residency program and more.

Hi Catherine,
Anthropic's vision really resonates with me and I had applied a few weeks before on the website for the role of Research Engineer. I wish to have an impactful career by choosing to work on problems that are large in scale, suffer from relative neglect, are solvable and are a good personal fit. AI Safety is positive on all four of those scales for me.
