Am Institut für Tragkonstruktionen der TU Wien, im Forschungsbereich Baumechanik und Baudynamik sind zwei Stellen als Universitätsassistent_in (Prae-Doc), voraussichtlich ab sofort (1 Stelle mit 40 Wochenstunden und 1 Stelle mit 30 Wochenstunden, befristet jeweils auf voraussichtlich 4 Jahre) mit folgendem Aufgabengebiet zu besetzen:

• Mitarbeit an Forschungs- und Lehraufgaben sowie Prüfungen
• Betreuung von Studierenden
• Forschungs- und Projekttätigkeit im Bereich Baumechanik und Baudynamik, mit Erweiterungen auf KI für die Mechanik.  
• Vertiefen der wissenschaftlichen Kenntnisse
• Verfassen einer Dissertation und von Publikationen
• Teilnahme an wissenschaftlichen Veranstaltungen
• Mitarbeit bei Organisations- und Verwaltungsaufgaben

Two positions for 

University Assistant (Pre-Doc) are available at the Institute of Structural Engineering of the TU Wien, within the Research Unit of Structural Mechanics and Dynamics. The positions are expected to start immediately (one for 40 hours per week and one for 30 hours per week), each with a fixed term of approximately 4 years. 

• Participation in research and teaching tasks as well as examinations
  
• Student supervision
  
• Research and project activities in the field of structural mechanics and dynamics, with extensions into AI for mechanics
  
• Deepening of scientific knowledge
  
• Writing a doctoral thesis (dissertation) and publications
  
• Participation in scientific events
  
• Support with organizational and administrative tasks
