We are looking for a senior researcher specialized in machine learning for healthcare, who will be based at Microsoft Research Cambridge, UK.
This role is central to our mission at the Biomedical Imaging Team, where are working on state-of-the-art AI research to assist radiologists, improve clinical workflows, and ultimately benefit patients. Focusing on multimodal approaches, our multi-disciplinary research touches on large-scale machine learning, novel uses of large language models, domain adaptation and data-efficient learning, clinically-appropriate evaluation of multimodal models, and other topics across machine learning for health. The ideal candidate would have a strong background in machine learning, proven experience with deep learning technologies, and a passion for applying AI in real-world healthcare scenarios.
