Hello from Dublin, Ireland! I'm writing from the Machine Learning team at Intercom, a fast-growing late-stage which builds customer engagement and support tools (think chat, bots, and outbound messaging) for tens of thousands of businesses globally.
Our team is made up of a spectrum of different folks, some of whom fit the profile of "Applied ML Scientist" and others who are closer to "ML-focused software engineers". We're looking to hire more great people anywhere along that spectrum; these two job postings intend to capture these profiles, but you need not fit cleanly into one or the other.

On a personal note, I've worked for Intercom for nearly 5 years (though I am relatively new to the ML side myself) and can vouch for it as a great place to learn and grow, with a really strong product and fun culture. I've also found that Intercom is genuine in its support of underrepresented communities, and I've gotten great peer support from my fellow women in engineering over the years.
