ML-related opportunities for Google Summer of Code

Dear all, 

we have two projects hosted at the University of Manchester and in the past we have recruited great candidates from this mailing list, so I thought I'd advertise them here. 

If anyone is interested in a summer opportunity, we are still in the "student evaluation" phase of the program: we will need you to complete a short (1-2 day worth) task to be considered for the project, you can receive the evaluation task if you e-mail the mentors of the specific project.
