Dear WiML Community,

The 6th AutoML Summer School 2026 will take place in Dortmund, Germany, from July 27–31, 2026.

This year’s edition is also part of the "ELLIS Summer and Winter School"-Program. The school will feature lectures, hands-on sessions, and panels on topics including hyperparameter optimization, AutoML in the age of foundation models, and agentic AutoML. Moreover, there will also be a poster session that allows participants to present their work to their peers.

The event is aimed at students, researchers, and practitioners, and our current speaker lineup includes Joaquin Vanschoren, Kasia Kobalczyk, Andreas Kist, Johannes Dürholt, Bernd Bischl, and Jovita Lukasik, with more speakers to come.
