Call for Participants: Brainstorming AI Risks and Solutions
Nokia Bell Labs' Social and Responsible AI team is hosting ONLINE interactive workshops exploring AI risks and practical solutions. We are looking for participants to join us for a collaborative session using proven strategic foresight techniques.
Workshop Details:
- Format: Groups of 5-6 participants with structured activities like Empathy Mapping and Futures Wheel
- Duration: 1 hour 45 minutes
- Where and when: ONLINE, Wednesday, 26th August 2025 (two timeslots available on the day)
- Compensation: £20 gift card of your choice
- What We'll Explore: We'll examine real-world AI applications including 24/7 AI chatbot companions, AI for organ transplant allocation, and virtual artists. Through small group activities, you'll help identify potential risks and develop practical mitigation strategies.
- Who Should Join: This workshop is open to everyone, whether you're new to AI or deeply involved in the field. We particularly welcome AI practitioners and Master's and PhD students in AI, computer science, or related fields who can contribute technical expertise to the discussions.
