For the group "Robotics and AI" at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT),
and in cooperation with "InnovationsCampus Mobilität der Zukunft" (ICM), we
are looking for full-time academic staff (100 %) available immediately, up to
5 years, 100% TV-L, E 13.

The main focus of this position is to develop novel AI systems and methods for
robot applications:

  *   Dexterous robot grasping
  *   Human-robot learning
  *   Transfer learning – efficient online learning

Qualifications:

  *   You have a very good degree (diploma/master's degree) in computer
science, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a
comparable field
  *   You have very good programming skills (e.g., Python, C++)
  *   You have a previous experience in hardware-related programming of robots
(e.g. with ROS)
  *   (Deep) Reinforcement Learning background is a big plus
  *   Your profile: highly motivated, independent with a high level of
personal responsibility, good communication, and teamwork skills
