Dear all,

We are pleased to announce that the submission deadline for the 4th AI for Visual Arts Workshop and Challenges (AI4VA) at ECCV 2026 has been extended to:

27 July 2026, 11:59 PM AoE

There are now approximately five days left to submit.

AI4VA explores how computer vision perceives, interprets, models, and generates artistic and cultural imagery. Building on three previous editions, this year’s workshop expands its focus to emerging research on generative and agentic creativity, world models, long-form video generation, neural 3D representations, and AI-assisted artistic production.

Topics of interest include:

  • World models for visual arts and cinematic simulation
  • Multimodal and long-form video generation for storyboarding and cinematic control
  • Temporal coherence and consistency in video generation
  • Neural 3D representations for creative domains
  • Agentic workflows for art, film, and storytelling
  • Typography, vector art, and graphic design generation
  • Stylistic control in generative models
  • Art watermarking, provenance tracking, and authenticity verification
  • Datasets and benchmarks for visual arts
  • AI ethics, authorship, and responsible AI for art
  • Digitisation of historic archives
  • Spatial intelligence for cultural heritage and digital restoration
  • Robust segmentation, depth, and saliency estimation in stylised imagery
  • Vision–language alignment and multimodal reasoning in art
  • Image composition for visual arts
  • Any other intersection of AI and visual art
