We are excited to announce the special track "Rethink Education: The Opportunities and Challenges of Artificial Intelligence", which will be part of the 7th International Conference on Higher Education Learning Methodologies and Technologies (HELMeTO 2025), to be held in Naples, Italy, on September 23–25, 2025.

Track Aim and Scope:
This special track invites contributions that explore the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in reshaping education, from both research and practical perspectives. We aim to foster critical discussion on the opportunities, risks, and future developments of AI in educational settings.
Topics of Interest include (but are not limited to):
AI-powered personalized learning systems
Intelligent tutoring, chatbots, and automated assessment
Generative AI for content creation and simulation
Learning analytics, inclusivity, and equity through AI
Ethical concerns, data privacy, and explainable AI (XAI)
The changing role of educators in AI-driven classrooms
Long-term trends and future skills development

Abstracts must be in English, up to 2 pages + 1 page of references, and submitted via EasyChair:

Be sure to select the appropriate special track during submission.
Accepted abstracts will be published in the digital book of abstracts. At least one author must register by September 1, 2025 (early registration deadline: August 10).
Authors of accepted abstracts will be invited to submit a full paper (12 pages + references) for peer-reviewed publication in the Springer CCIS post-proceedings, indexed in Scopus.
