Dear all,
We are excited to announce our ICLR2026 workshop: Generative AI in Genomics (Gen2): Barriers and Frontiers in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (supporting a hybrid format with a virtual component)!
We focus on identifying barriers to deepening biological impact for GenAI in genomics, especially towards targeted engineering of cellular & tissue states, and mapping the next frontiers: from data generation priorities to model design & evaluation.
We are now calling for submission:
Call for: Full workshop papers (5-8 pages) and Tiny papers (2-4 pages)
Submission deadline: 7 February 2026 AoE
Learn more: genai-in-genomics.github.io
This is a non-archival venue, so workshop submissions should not preclude later publication of the work. We additionally allow for parallel submissions to other workshops and venues.
We are also recruiting reviewers:
Sign-up form: https://tinyurl.com/gen2reviewer
Review period: 8 - 26 Feb, 2026
Please find more details in the attached flyer, including key dates for submissions and our invited speakers and organizers.
Check out social media accounts: Gen2Workshop@X and gen2workshop@Bluesky.
Feel free to reach out if you’d like to be involved! Stay tuned for more updates!
