Tenured faculty positions at the rank of Associate Professor and tenure-track positions at the rank of Assistant Professor in the area of Data Science: Appointments may be made in either the Department of Computer Science or the Department of Statistics, jointly between Statistics and Computer Science, or jointly with another department in the University.

Eric and Wendy Schmidt AI in Science Fellows: Scholars who seek to advance and accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) in the natural sciences while pursuing original research on significant questions in AI and science. 

Postdoctoral Scholars: Engage in field-defining data science and artificial intelligence research while advancing cutting-edge data science approaches, methods, and applications.

Data Science Preceptor: A teaching academic position in the disciplines of data science, engineering, and computer science education, in partnership with UChicago and the City Colleges of Chicago. 

SkAI Data Science Preceptors: A teaching academic position focused on teaching and scholarship in the area of Astronomy and AI, in partnership with UChicago, the City Colleges of Chicago (CCC), and the US National Science Foundation and Simons Foundation-funded National AI Institute for the Sky.
