We are delighted to invite you to participate in IMMER-SENSE, a workshop on Sensing and Extended Reality, to be held at IEEE VR 2026.
Workshop Details
Date: March 21 or 22, 2026 (final date TBD)
Location: Daegu, South Korea (IEEE VR 2026)
We invite 2–4 page short papers, position papers, posters, and commentaries that align with the workshop themes. Accepted workshop papers will be published in the IEEE Digital Library under the proceedings titled “IEEE Conference on Virtual Reality and 3D User Interfaces Abstracts and Workshops (VRW)”.
Why Participate?
IMMER-SENSE aims to bring together researchers and practitioners exploring the intersection of XR, sensing, and HCI. Participants will have the opportunity to:
Share insights on emerging opportunities, challenges, and design frameworks for sensing-driven XR systems
Network and collaborate with an international community of researchers and industry experts
Contribute toward shaping the future of sensing-enabled XR technologies
Submission Format
All submissions must be written in English and follow the IEEE Computer Society VGTC (IEEE VR Conference) format. Templates (LaTeX/Word) and sample PDFs are available at:
