I am recruiting PhD students to join the Infinity Lab at Stevens Institute of Technology, starting in the Fall 2026/Spring 2027 semester.
We work on several exciting research problems in AI/ML including trustworthy ML (hallucination detection and mitigation, trustworthy models and trustworthy information), agentic systems and workflows, with applications to intent based networking, mental health, etc.
I am especially looking for students with strong quantitative and computational backgrounds who enjoy working on challenging open-ended problems.
The ideal candidate will have a Masters degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related areas.
A strong background in hands-on implementation of AI architectures is necessary. Exposure to LLMs, LVMs, agentic systems etc. is a plus. The student will be expected to publish in top AI/ML conferences, working in a collaborative group.
