Hello Machine Learning Community!
I am currently searching for a 2-3 month full-time/part-time summer internship with the possibility of continuing part-time work (20 hours a week) afterwards. I am happy to relocate for the opportunity anywhere in the world to learn as much as possible.
Interest: My main interests are fMRI, DTI, connectomics, mapping connections within the brain, and deep image/sound reconstruction from brain activity (mainly fMRI and EEG).
Skills: During this internship, I want to challenge myself in:
Data Analysis
Python and R programming
Image Reconstruction
Machine Learning
EEG, Connectomics, DTI, and fMRI Analysis
Neuroimaging software
Research collaboration
Open to other growth opportunities
What I can offer:
Experience mentioned in CV and recommendation letters (available upon request)
Curiosity, hard work, and a relentlessly resourceful attitude
Deep work and getting things done
Excitement for ideas, projects, science, people, and problem-solving
About me: Student of Cognitive Neuroscience and AI in the Netherlands, working in Germany at Yuri on Business Development (space biotech with first partnership between a commercial space company and a biomedical research institute worldwide) previously MIT Technology Bootcamp (~6% acceptance rate) leading to pitching a technological product, Watson Institute Venture Accelerator scholar (10% acceptance rate) working on developing financial startup in Kenya, organizing smaller projects like national campaign in Poland mentored by Henkel, promoting breast health and prevention or working as a mentor for organization (Zwolnieni z Teorii) supporting project based learning creating social and technological projects in Poland and many others. Links to specific projects are in highlighted parts of my CV.
Scientific background and side projects: Currently I’m applying Deep Neural Networks to decoding EEG signals from Brain activity working with professors at TU Delft which will be part of a bigger project funded by GoogleAI. I'm interested in human connectome, deep image reconstruction from brain activity and decoding brain activity from fMRI, DTI, etc. which I'm researching pretty much every free hour. In March I participated in the IYNA Annual Ideathon 2023 with an Alzheimer theme. In April I will participate in Neurotech Spring School from g.tech Austria as well as their Hackathon. Paper non-peer reviewed in IYNA International Student Association: (link March edition)
Hard skills: Python (NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlip), Proton, mySQL, R, data visualization and neural networks.
If you have any opportunities or suggestions, please feel free to reach out. My CV and recommendation letters are available upon request. Thank you for your time and consideration!
Best regards,
