Postdoc and PhD positions in learning for planning at ANU

I am looking for a postdoctoral researcher and a PhD student at the Australian National University. The positions are funded by the Australian Research Council via the project "Automated Planning: The Next Generation". Successful applicants will have the opportunity to work with myself and colleagues of the ANU Intelligent Systems cluster.

• Postdoc position:
  • Research topics:
    1. learning of neuro-symbolic models for planning and acting, from video and text data
    2. representation and learning of generalised policies and heuristic cost estimators
  • Duration: 2.5 years (a priori -- this may be negotiable)
  • Level B salary: AUD $107,475- $121,857 plus 17% Superannuation
