to Women and Literature
In my opinion, the story we read is quite relevant to our
modern life. It turned out from the story that women were in inferior
situation a hundred years ago, they didn't feel free, because of house
works or other family duties, the tings which are seen today almost in
every country, all these took much time, as a result they're not able
to do what they want.
Today in some parts of the world, especially in USA or other
Western countries, women are struggling to get more freedom; they work
at big companies, even at high state positions, but I would not say
that they have quietly reached their target yet, because we shouldn't
ignore the other parts of the world, especially in Africa, or Asia a
huge number of women's inferior situation still exists.
This point makes the story to be still relevant to our modern
age.
