Hi all,

My name is Katie Womack-Buller. I'm not sure what information you may have on the family in Mississippi but I will help where I can. According to many of my families sources, we are descendants from William Womack, the Immigrant. As for finding any more information beyond that, that is proven, is questionable. I was just curious if anyone had gotten further. I look forward to hearing from you all and helping out where I can.

I also see that y'all are looking for a male lineage with the surname of Womack. I may be able to obtain one from my dad or my brother if they are willing.

Hi Katie,

You said your family was from DeSoto Co, MS and Shelby Co, TN (Memphis area).

I am pretty sure you descend from William C Womack (1821 - 1888) and his wife Elizabeth Harrison. See https://sites.google.com/site/womackgen/family/jno/wm/jam

They has 2 sons, William Frank Womack and David Smith Womack. Your line is probably from William Frank Womack ans his first wife Elizabeth Dodds: https://www.geni.com/people/Frank-Womack/6000000012559844363

All these people lived in DeSoto Co, MS.

I have the ancestors of William C Womack back a few generations.
