Hullo all,
My name is Witt Womack, and thus far I've been rather too young to seek out records myself. But I happen to be doing a semester abroad in England, and am perfectly willing to scour any parish records and the like that y'all have always wanted to peruse. I'm clueless, but perhaps I can be a tool to Womack research. I'm based in Leeds, but I'm planning to go all over the country, so anywhere in England should work.
I remember that Mr Robert Burke in his Womack Blog talked of wanting to get some English Womacks' DNA. If possible, I can look one up in a phonebook and sequester him (a bit dodgy, but, hey, we're kin) to take a DNA test, or else find a Womack contact in a less dramatic way. I would need to know the sort of test that y'all did, so that the results can match up though--or another sort of test where all the subclades or whatnot are included: we're doing Y-haplotypes, right?
Anyway, it's just an idea. Hopefully y'all are actually notified of this post!
Cheers,
Witt Womack
