A place to discuss things that won't help to advance Wolf PAC's extremely focused goal of amending the Constitution through an Article V Convention, limiting the influence that money has over our political process. Please no fundraising appeals for outside groups or candidates, coordination for electoral activity, sharing other people's emails without their permission, or personal attacks. Violating these terms can result in being removed from the group permanently.

Remember that we all came here for a similar purpose (no flame wars, always point the bayonets at the bad guys).  

We are the people who are going to write fresh ink on the US Constitution.

I hate how the money in politics is destroying the foundation of our government. I want our representatives to represent us, the people.

I am not very good with people in person or on the phone, but if there is anything I can do to help technical wise, or written, I would like to help.

I won't go into details(unless you want to hear them), I might not be good at a lot of things, or super fast, but I will certainly do what I can.

------What skills & Knowledge I have to offer-----

I have some knowledge of Apache, (X)HTML, PHP, CSS, MySQL, VB .NET, and a smaller bit of Javascript, Java, and C++;

Building Computers & Repairing them, some basic Networking, mostly Workgroup, never really messed with Windows Domains.

I am most familiar with Windows (Have worked with 3.x, 9x, NT4, 2000, XP, 7, Vista, 8, Server 2003, Server 2008, Server 2012),

however I also have a little experience with Ubuntu Server, and Linux in general. I have not had any experience with Mac since OS 7, 8, and 9.

As well as some experience with Virtualization, mostly VMware Workstation and ESX Server, though also some with Virtual PC and VirtualBox.

I can't do anything spectacular, well at least not yet. But with some time, maybe?

I also don't mind writing to anyone, either email or to print and mail.

Thank you for the kind words. Sorry I haven't gotten back sooner, I have trouble switching between tasks,

and when I get busy with something everything else tends to fall on the back burner.

Some people can do one or several dozens of things in a day, I tend to max out at 1 to 3.

I really don't know how I can help, but I'd still like to if there is anything I could do.

I was unsure at first whether I should bring it up but I think maybe it'd be ok to tell you.

I have a form of High Functioning Autism previously classified as Asperger's Syndrome in

the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, more commonly known as the DSM.

Due to that and the way events have unfolded over the course of my life because of that,

I have very few resources or social talents to be that helpful. And very little experience

doing anything other than tech/programming projects because I wanted to or for friends.

I feel nervous about saying all this, however I don't want to misrepresent what I feel like

I could do, and the only way I know to do that is tell you everything, so you will know.

Hey Nathan, sorry, I meant to respond to your email a while ago.  Of course you can still be a valuable member of the team man!  The first step is always to see our new volunteer training presentation which is basically Wolf PAC 101, it will give you a better idea of what we're trying to do.  

There are two times today if you can make either, one is at 12pm EST, and the other is at 4pm EST.

Hey Mike, I apologize too, I did the same thing. I thought I replied to this but it seems I didn't.

I was out that day and didn't see the email till it was too late. It seems like the past couple weeks have

been busier than I expected. I won't bore you with details, I just wanted to make sure you knew I am

still here and want to help, I just have to get caught up on some stuff first. Hopefully after the holidays,

and I get some stuff done, I'll be able to sit down and take a good look and the info Amanda shared with me.

We already went through a training session on the phone. I just need to read all the material and

then I can work with her and try to help accomplish any goals we have or call/email/etc people.

After seeing that Vermont passed a call for an amendment 25 :2 Something in me just switched that not only is this possible, but perhaps I can help. I know TN is a red state through and through, which means many people may not have heard Cenk's message here. I'm not sure how I can help, I have little knowledge of all the nuances of the political process, but it is obvious that money is influencing our politics to the point that the U.S. is owned by money and not the people. Why not necessarily good or evil, it does not give us the control needed to prevent important happenings such as Global Warming or even from a non-Liberal perspective, provide a fair playing field for all businesses.

I'm not sure how much I can help, but I will try.

Tired because I'm in the middle of the last month of school before I graduate! But once I'm settled after graduating and other plans in the next two months, I definitely want to be more active in this really great cause of getting money out of politics. Short and sweet, it is time for us to take back democracy. Not the bastardized version that Fox News go on about. Real democracy. The majority of our country agrees on everything from women's rights to gay rights to gun control, yet we see all of our rights shrinking daily and the corrupt portions of our country growing by the minute.

So anyway got a paper to right but feeling great to be a part of this, hope to speak to more of my people in Tennessee soon! :)

Hello, my name is Terry Clark I am disabled from a back injury suffered in a car wreck. But yes I am very concerned about money in politics ,big corporations getting laws passed by buying the very folks who are in office to serve us ! and government employees who are now in office not to serve ,but to be served . Yes I am one fed up American ,it seems that every single day some dumbass senator or congressman pull another fubar that does nothing to benefit us . Yes we can take our country back ,but I don't see a pretty sight ahead with government spending so far out of sight that it has now become IMPOSSIBLE to pay our debts.Now I realize that I am a gloom and doom type when we speak politics but Mr. Potus I feel ,will impose martial law he has already written an executive order giving him rights to take over any corporation ,to take an individuals home and land,he even has control over our food supplies now .I have written at least 50 senators and congressmen WHY ,WHY are you guys who are sworn to protect our constitution sitting on your ham hocks and not confronting what is positively a Dictator sitting in D.C. We truly only have a few good people in office who are concerned Cruz, and Andrea, fleishman who is our rep.in congress has assured me that he is so frustrated with our government that he honestly says he is in a quandry as to what to do ....I feel like I am doing every thing I can do to help but I am limited to phone calls and E-mails ,but let me assure you I am not scared to speak my mind wrong is wrong ,and we the taxpayers ,are being wronged ! I am glad to meet others who have finally pulled their heads out of the sand, and seeing just how out of hand our government has gotten out of hand ..what troubles me is I have been talking to hundreds of folks about these problems for years now , and now that the public is finally becoming informed to this miserable situation ,it is too late ,we have already let it get too far ( I pray I am wrong ) but I spend hours a day reviewing new laws who is voting yay and nay ....and I have no idea what needs to be done .Well thanks for listening to my rambling ...we still have hope ,it is just getting slimmer by the day .

Thanks Amanda, and yes, it's important to remember that we are a truly bi-partisan organization.  In fact, we have Republicans willing to introduce our Resolution in some of the "Reddest" states.  And we do not get into electoral politics.   We should all be focused on talking with our State Legislators about the corruption of our federal government.  When you have that conversation with them you may be amazed at how much they are on our side on this issue.  Never assume that someone is for or against getting money out of politics based on their party affiliation, especially at State level.   That's my suggestion for everyone.  If you haven't yet make sure to see our training presentation, you can RSVP for Saturday at 1pm Central Here.  And set up a meeting with your local State Rep and Senator to discuss the influence money has over our political process in America. This group is absolutely 100% NOT a place to have disagreements or discussion about two parties that are both massively corrupt.   We are all on the same team here.  It's us vs. them.  Not us vs. us.  (which is what they want)   This group is soley for the purpose of working together towards our common goals of 1.  getting our Resolution introduced.  2. Getting it passed through committee.  and 3. Getting it passed through the Senate and House so that the state of Tennessee is officially calling for a convention of the states to get money out of politics.  The only way to save our democracy at this point.  The future of our country is the most important thing here and that's what we need to be focused on.

Hello Wolf Pac; my name is Andy Jellison and I reside in Middle Tennessee. I am here because I am mad. I am joining because I love this country, liberty, and freedom in the form of democracy which this country was founded upon. I am not a party voter, in fact; I am not a party anything. George Washington in my opinion was the only President to have it completely right as being an Independent Republic. I believe for some forty years our elected officials have done nothing short of destroying the moral fiber of our country. The federal Government is very good at two things. Creating federal jobs in excess of 40 million of them, at an average of $85,000 per year, paid by our tax dollars. Spending billions of our tax dollars on programs I have not a clue about and then if that’s not enough, wasting millions of dollars fighting left verses right on how it gets done.

As for me, I am a product of this system. They almost had me as a sheep. I figured it was time for me to put up or shut up. Guess which one I chose. I am a blue collar small business owner therefore I get the privilege of paying out excessive taxes just to be in business just so they have more resources to waste on better breeding grounds for Salmon fish to lay more productive eggs. I don’t even like the taste of Salmon, why should I care about their breeding grounds.  

My back ground is Fine Arts and performing in live theatre. I have worked in the HVAC industry for thirty plus years and I have a large family. I worked my way up from ground zero to being the National Spokesman for Honeywell’s Computerized Diagnostics. I have authored a feature article in the industry’s largest magazine. I have taught at a college level the HVAC profession. I have spoken to large and small audiences. My Church has asked that I take on the challenge of preaching the word of God. I have been successful in every element of my career simply based on my compassion and ability to communicate and adapt to my audience no matter how large or small it is.

I do not revere politicians as they put themselves above the people which they serve. They are easily converted by money into pawns of Washington by the super-rich who direct any and all steps Washington. Therefore, I decided to run for office myself. When I announced my bid for Commissioner of the sixth district of Trousdale County, everyone dropped out of the race. In fact, the board voted unanimously to put me in the seat six months prior to the election. Moneys I get paid for that job are donated to local charities because I feel I am a servant to the people of the community. They frequent my business therefore I give back to them my services to the community. I believe all elected officials should do the same. My gift is my ability to go straight for the heart. To make grown men cry and women weep. I am not an orator bequeathed with an eloquent tongue even though it is not far from my reach. I do represent 80% of the population of America that never had the time to care what Washington was doing because I was too busy working and trying to provide for my family. The American Dream is dead even though they say it is alive and well. I would have believed it until I realized to achieve their idea of a dream; I must first go to sleep. Well, I am not asleep and that won’t bold well for Washington.

Their goal was to have us picks sides. Democrat or Republican, it really did not matter which side you were on as long as you voted. If you voted, you trusted they were doing the right thing by you and fighting over it would be justified. Over generations, families passed down what or which party you should vote for. If your Daddy was democrat, you voted democrat. And so down the line, you would teach your children to do the same. Well, for me, I stopped playing shirts verses skins when I left elementary school. When they are not held accountable for making a mistake, something is very wrong.

I will study the mission of this organization and engender compassion like no other. I will become a wolf with a nasty bite. I look forward to working with you all and changing the power back to the people; the real government of the United States of America. God bless you all.

If you haven't already, look out for the next new volunteer conference call!  We have these typically at least weekly, and it will really help you further understand the actions we need to take to restore our democracy.  You might know that we must contact our local representatives and ask them to introduce our resolution on the floor, but this call will give you an even better idea of how to do this, what the plan is and how to get your feet wet and get involved.
