We'll be discussing general campaign strategy and how we can move
forward to establish greater visibility and really reach out to the
people of San Francisco so that they can become more involved in
planning the future of our city. The next three months are going to be
a lot of fun, but it's also going to be a lot of work, and I know that
our impact will be much greater if each of you get involved and lend a
hand.
Starting this Friday, and continuing until the election, the Mayoral
Candidates Collaborative of 2007 will be organizing a debate in front
of City Hall from 5:00-6:30. At least a dozen candidates are expected
to participate Friday and the mayor's office has expressed interest in
participating as well. The format of the 90 minute program will
provide each candidate three minutes to give a presentation, an
opportunity to ask another candidate a question, and also provide room
for the audience to pose questions to the candidates as well.
Unfortunately, due to the lack of accessible wireless internet around
City Hall, the debate will not be streamed online, but our campaign
will make a concerted effort to capture and upload video from the
debates as soon as possible.
I hope you can make it Thursday to join me as we plan our strategy for
the months ahead and be sure to check out the debate as well. Please
feel free to forward this wide and far.
Thank you,
Josh
You also might want to ask justin.tv if you can use one of their cam
systems for these
and other campaign events.
