Samhain Celebration 2010 at the Wolf Creek Radical Faerie Sanctuary Called to our homeland To dance with the dead The spirits speak In tones of emotion From under the earth We dance in bodies to heal and be whole. This gathering is created and sustained by each one of us. Our magic flourishes with what we each bring to the land. It is what we make it. Whatever our hearts imagine or desire, we have full permission and empowerment to make happen. If you want to see a workshop, heart circle, dance party, whatever it may be, you can manifest it! You are invited to clarify your individual and communal intentions before the gathering starts. Arrive Ready! Currently Scheduled Events Wed. 27th – Opening Circle Thurs 28th – The Know Talent Cabaret and Cirque UrSo Gay! Fri 29th – Libations Night and Dance With Your Dead Party Sat 30th – The Sacred Hunt Sun 31st – Samhain Mon 1st – Dumb Supper and Ancestor Day Tues 2nd – Closing Circle and Cleanup A lot of love and work goes into this gathering. Meals need to be cooked, propane hauled and firewood cut, shitters cleaned and stocked, fire stations ready, circles and rituals led, trash hauled. Gardening, repair, and project love are needed to keep the Sanctuary thriving. Giving to the Sanctuary is a powerful act of abundance magic. Thank you for your generosity, which strengthens this community and the magic that we share. The suggested donation is $35 per person per day; NOTAFLOF (No One Turned Away For Lack Of Funds) and GAYAABAGS (Give As You Are Able But Always Give Something). Pre-Register! DONATE ONLINE! The dates for this year’s Work Week are from Wednesday October 20th to Tuesday October 26th. The week prior to the gathering has been scheduled for a more intimate experience as we prepare the land together. There’s much to be done before we open the land and there’s something here that could use your loving attention. Some Work Week Projects include: Weather-proofing the back of the barn, wood gathering for Samhain, construction of the fire pit woodshed and installing the new stove! Note: Please be ready to contribute labor during the Work Week. If you are not ready to work, we ask that you please come back when the gathering officially begins.
