The first half was pretty much generic, riding through suspense and hyping it up all the way towards a kickass action blocks and pre interval sequence. Eeswari Rao and Shruti get annoyingly single note characters and they only hurt the proceedings. You can also add John Vijay to the annoying pack. The usage of engine sound during the coal mine action piece was badass.
