Hi guys. The Microsoft Edge is my favorite browser of all times, really, but not when I try to watch netflix or other video streaming services, it always breaks, I have no ideia what to do anymore. Always when I try to play something there's an error and then I need to reload over and over again, sometimes even when I just play the video it stop working when I try to play again. Help me to keep using this best browser that I've ever seen.

I've ever tried to disable hardware acceleration, enable DRM content, install Microsoft Silverlight and a lot of other things, but I didn't get to watch so far without an error I keep receiving these error codes: D7356-7701 and others related. Is there's still something that can be done to really fix theses erros or I just have to be patient and wait for news versions of the browser?

if you open the netflix app that is installed on the tv, all seems well up until the point you actually try to play a piece of media. Choose the wrong movie or show, and your tv will immediate lose all picture, and picture will not return until you either unplug the tv for a few minutes, or enter the button command "home button x5, up button, rewind x2, fast forward x2" and power back on. Choose the right film or show, and you will recieve 15 or so minutes of uninterrupted play, followed by the abrupt loss of image altogether once again.

That all is to say, the netflix app behaves differently depending on the media you select, but using it unwaveringly results in the loss of image output from your tv (and its always before you can finish your show).

moving on... we tried problem solving. Hooked our Xbox series s up to the device, and tried to run the netflix app on it instead. No luck. Immediate loss of image output by the tv, before the xbox can even fully boot up the app.

before you suggest - we have already checked for updates to both the netflix app and the tv itself. Both are up to date. We have already reset the tv (many times) and the netflix app itself, no luck.

other streaming apps that we have tried (the tubi app) works fine and no issue was experienced after 10 consecutive hours of play. It is only netflix, and it is any form of netflix that you try, be it rokus netflix or xbox's netflix. Doing other things on the xbox does not produce the issue. It is only when you try to load up netflix that the tv immediately loses picture (audio persists in all cases)

i wish you the best of luck in solving this issue, my best guess is that it is foulplay from netflix. Perhaps netflix is trying to deter consumers from roku devices, for a competitor tv company maybe. Orrrr perhaps theres no drama and your devices are just in need of some sort of update regarding Netflix software specifically. I dont understand why this issue would extend to netflix ran through external devices via the hdmi channels though.

using netflix on AppleTV 4 and having issues lately with some titles not loading. After selecting the movie or episode, it will just stay on the loading loop. Not a network issue since other titles will load and stream fine. Most titles work fine, but 10% of the time, titles like girl from oslo, fauda, blackspace wont load. Tried forced app restart and reinstall, but issue persists.

Thank you for reaching out to Apple Support Communities, and we'll be happy to help in any way we can. We understand you're having issues with certain content in the Netflix app. To start, follow the steps listed here to see if they help resolve the issue:If you can't watch or stream movies and TV shows in the Apple TV app

I have exactly the same problem. It helps to delete and reinstall the Netflix app. Then everything is fine for some weeks or months, but, out of a sudden, some titles again refuse to start and I have to do the delete-reinstall cycle once again.

I have an xbox one with a ortz 3rd party power supply. It works well with Netflix and YouTube, but if I play a game such as gta5 or fortnite, the xbox has a tendency to just shut completely off instantly in the menus or even in the middle of a game. When it turns off, the power supply light turns red and stays red. Anybody got any ideas?

I've had the very same issue with my xbox, I also thought it was the power supply and I changed the psu and it still bombed out under games load. I then rigged up my xbox to a 600w pc psu that pushes 25a on the 12v rail and still it crashed under game load, after alot of stripping down and testing i quickly learnt the issue was indeed the thermal paste on the chip. The OG thermal pastes application was so poor, it was caked all around the outside and minimal paste on the chip itself, after cleaning it all up and rethermal pasting.... it's working 100% and I'm still using the 600w pc psu as my main power supply the OG Xbox power brick is junk.

I'm in a similar boat but with my Xbox One X, it shuts down after i load a game up, once i start the match in lobby it will shut down but i can watch videos on youtube all day. I replaced the thermal grease and power cable and had the power supply and everything else tested with no results or answers. I also removed all dust. i have been hearing and reading it could be a Hardware/Software issue on Microsoft end. I can't play any games. Also were any of you on YouTube before they noticed this issue.

Update: was a 3rd party power supply's problem (listed as Cause #4 on the Xbox One Turns Itself Off wiki). If you recently ordered a 3rd party power supply and have this issue, I reccomend junking it and buying a microsoft official power supply. Seems to be the only option for reliable power to my xbox.

I just got my xbox one s on August 26 and I got it all set up and downloaded 3 games, they r all gta v, fortnite, and jalopy. Whenever I play any of those games my headset sounds like a buzzing noise then my xbox turns off and I'm confused

I could leave my console(xb1)all day an play ah few games but when I try to play COD warzone or high end games it shuts off no heat warning nothing I could watch YouTube videos an play basic games like dead rising for hours an it would stay on can anyone suggest a fix for me an I already changed the thermal paste on it

The issue I believe is caused either by the power supply or cooling fan. I say the power supply because you mentioned that it is 3rd party. Unless you order it from a trusted company like iFixit, Fixez, or GoKrazyWireless, you could be getting a cheap alternative with fake promises and cheap parts used to make it. Similar to a cheap iPhone battery, it would make your phone run worse than it was with the old battery. So make sure the battery you are getting is authentic or OEM. If your battery is OEM, then I believe that it is the cooling fan. Throughout the use of your console, the fan will collect dust, and sometimes get to the point of so much dust that your console will overheat. I would recommend finding a video or another online tutorial of how to clean out dust from your Xbox. I am personally leaning more towards this being the issue because you said YouTube runs fine, but games cause the issue. If you listen, YouTube wont cause the fans to turn on because it doesnt require much system resources. Games like GTA and such use a lot more resources and can cause the fans to go into overdrive, especially if there is a lot of dust, heating up the console and causing it to shut off due to overheating.

Hi please help. Let's hope you still answer back still from this question forum thing? Ok my xbox one will let me use Netflix YouTube some simple games dlcs only for a certain amount of time *live lock lasts quite a while but also shuts down. Every time it cuts out it shuts down the brick so I have to fudge about with it blowing and tapping it then plugging and unplugging the dc cable into the brick until eventually the orange power light comes back on. I can then (basically) rinse and repeat the whole thing again. Is this a brick or xbox or both issue because I am stumped. Rsvp

Yeah sorry my console shuts down just cuts right out if I try playing games like destiny 2 or apex etc but stays on for basic operating n apps etc . All power just goes. My console is clean clear. Don't get that hot fans work ok . Same with power brick too . The whole trying to get it back online working puzzles me?

I'm having the same problem. Console/power brick shuts down immediately after launching any game from home menu. Reseting the power brick only works to turn the Console back on but soon as I try to launch the game off it goes again. I'm frustrated ?

Do they have wifi? I have a chromecast which I love. You find things on your phone and then cast to the TV - youtube, netflix etc. It also has apps on it and a remote control to control it.
In order to work (and I think firesticks are similar) you need:
TV with HDMI port
Power near the TV to connect it to
Wifi - to connect the chromecast
Ask if they have smart TVs so you can log in on their TV with your accounts.

Different things which do similar - chromecast, roku, firestick

You can connect your iPad to your tv with a special dongle. You have to buy the Apple one or it doesn't work but that effectively puts your iPad screen onto your tv screen so you can steam Netflix that way.

You might want to check the wifi is good enough for that though. If it isn't, you could download a load of stuff I guess

When we go we take our play station which has netflix on it. It worked fine.
You need a hdmi cable to attach to the tv. This is the cable you connect your game console, sky box etc to her tv with.
