Hi Rich,
I'm unclear on exactly you are trying to achieve but here's an an attempt at some answers.
1. No. In the context of AX.25 packet radio WoAD supports only connected mode.
2. I'm unclear on what you mean by an alias in this context. WoAD is deliberately lenient on what you can use for a destination call sign, so as long as the receiving station is going to respond to it you should be okay.
3. If you give the destination address as <Station-2> then the script could be as short as "C <Station-1>". Assuming you have checked "Run script after initial connection" the script will run automatically after the initial connection is established. The script will terminate once the final connection is made. That assumes that <Station-2> is a station node. If <Station-2> is a digipeater then you should just use the Via functionality instead, with the destination address now being <Station-1> and Digipeater-1 being <Station-2>.
If you're using a Winlink session talking to a CMS (or P2P) server on <Station-1> then message exchange will occur automatically. If, as seems more likely from your question, you're using a Terminal then listing messages on <Station-1> will depend on what terminal software it is running.
4. The script for a connection is entered into a standard Android multiline text preference, so you can either type it in, or paste from some previously copied text. There is currently no other way to import or export scripts.
Hope at least some of that helps.
All the best,
Andrew
