I'm using version 1.4.88. I can't get WoAD to connect to the local packet gateway. I can  hear the connect request and hear the Ack from the gateway on another radio. The log just says start and end. The last post I read on this was Nov 22.
Thanks.

Hi Bob,

In the Logs screen you can enable various levels of logging, including Traffic, Packet, and Oher packet. These can be enabled/disabled form the lower menu in the Logs Screen. Setting these appropriately should at least you allow you to see the outgoing packets in the log.

There are a few things you can try to ensure the incoming packet is decoded:

1) the volume level on the radio. If this is too low or too high the signal won't be decoded properly - so playing around with the audio level may help.
2) switch off the battery saver feature - this may help in detecting the incoming signal more quickly - making it more likely it is successfully decoded.
3) adjust the squelch level on the radio, to ensure it opens when the gateway transmits its response.

Hope some of that helps.

All the best,

Andrew
