With regard to support for FSK 9600 bps, it is important to understand that this modulation will not work if the audio signal is sent to (received from) the microphone (speaker) connection of a radio. Instead a direct connection to the radio's modulator (discriminator) is required - which is made available on some radios as a 'data' port, though the terminology is by no means standard across manufacturers. The reason for this is that the usual audio processing done by the radio will effectively distort the signal, rendering it indecipherable. This is avoided when using a 'data' port.
The latest version has already rolled out on the Google Play Store.
