WoAD and UV Pro

I got the WoAD able to send and receive using the UV Pro.

But I have a question?

Using RadioMail on IOS the software takes control of the UV Pro and changes the frequency to whatever the local gateway is on and then returns it back to whatever it was on..

Should I expect this behavior using WoAD and the UV Pro, or do I just need to store some favorite local gateway frequencies as memories?

So far my experience is limited...but there is a list of gateways you can set under the "DESTINATION" field.

WoAD treats the UV Pro as a simple KISS TNC, and does not currently support changing any settings on the UV Pro - such as frequency, offset, etc. So it is up to the user to ensure the UV Pro is correctly configured for whatever gateway they want to use.
