I recently installed WoAD on my Samsung Galaxy A54 phone. I have stumbled through the setup, trying to get it to work with my AIOC (all-in-one-cable) that plugs into any radio with a two-prong "Kenwood" type connection.
In my session setup, I have a packet session,:
Protocol: packet
Type: outgoing
Settings: I've specified a known operational Winlink RMS node, Modulation AFSK, 1200 bps, simplex, channel is both, FX.25 FEC check bytes 0.
Tapping on the settings selection, I have my destination address set to the desired local RMS node, default TNC settings; TNC type is audio.
TNC configuration is: Modulation: AFSK, 1200BPS
Mode: simplex
channel: both
Packet volume at 79
Audio device: shows AIOC audio plugged into USB-C port on phone
PTT USB RTS is enabled, and shows AIOC USB port.

When I start the session, it says "unconnected" and the radio never transmits. I also tried VBOX enabled on the radio, with no luck.
I'm stumped right now, any help would be appreciated!

Hi Dave,

There are several variants of the AIOC so its possible that the device you're using does not support PTT control through the USB RTS.
You could try using the CM108 GPIO pin, which is supported by WoAD and most AIOC devices - based on some quick googling.
The pin number will depend on the particular device you're using.

All the best,

Thanks, Andrew, I'll see if I can get that going.
