Please consider joining the Bristol Hills Historical Society on June 13th or 14th at the Levi Corser Park 6751 County Rd 32 Canandaigua NY 14424.
The FREEDOM FESTIVAL on Saturday June 13th features Revolutionary reenactors camping and demonstrating colonial skills such as log hewing, blacksmithing and farrier work. We have sheep herding, colonial kids' games, corn husk doll  making, Native American Storyteller, Perry Ground, and much more. We would really appreciate two to four "been there done that" horses to stand for a free trim and shoeing can be real or pretend at 12:00 or 2:00 pm. This event is being heavily advertised and we expect hundreds of people. If you are a breeder or trainer you are welcome to advertise your business or have a booth. Please contact me to make an appointment and for parking directions by responding to this email.
On Sunday, June 14th, we have a SHORT PARADE starting at 11:00 and some of the people participating are dressing in period colonial costumes. We would love to have a carriage or more riders in costume (fur traders, sidesaddle ladies in colonial dress, patriot costumes, tricorn hats? ) The parade will also have antique cars and tractors and fire engines and music, but horses will be at the end of the parade and can exit to the trailer parking without being too close to the noises at the end of the parade. www.bristolhillshistory.org

Please join us and show off your beautiful horses!!!
Thank you,
Beth Thomas
