Welcome- Siba Mohanty (WNTA National Coordinator)

Dear Friends,

Please join me in welcoming Siba Sankar Mohanty as the new National
Campaign Coordinator of the Wada Na Todo Abhyiaan. Many of our
friends, campaigners, activists and researchers are already familiar
with the solid work Siba has done over the past few years on issues of
governance, budgets and peoples struggles for rights and justice. He
joins the campaign with significant experience of working on macro
economic issues, budget analysis and research on poverty and
marginalization. Importantly, he has worked at the grassroots and has
been involved in organizing and mobilizing peoples initiatives. Siba
was based in Bhubaneshwar and has moved to Delhi from the 17th of
August to work full time with WNTA.

The WNTA is at a crucial stage. We have made significant achievements
but are also faced with serious challenges. I am sure Siba would add
enormous value, energy and commitment to WNTA's campaign for
governance accountability and peoples struggles for rights and
dignity.

Please join me in wishing Siba the very best and assuring him of our
support in taking the campaign forward.

Your entry into the campaign comes at an all-important time when we have the dual challenge of consolidating our achievements across outreach, coalition building and advocacy over the last few years, while also continuing to innovate and organize around the new and ongoing questions of entitlements, inclusion and governance accountability.
