How are our Nowbies doing?

The utilities have shut off power to something
like 800,000 customers. (keep in mind each
customer can be anything from one person in
a mobile home to a 1,000 unit apartment complex).

But... BART claims they'll keep the trains running:

San Francisco is spared (so it hasn’t had any impact on me), but there is lots of coverage of the rest of the Bay Area

I’m fine. Close to Monterey Bay. Surrounded by strawberries and cauliflower which don’t burn too easily. And not that windy.
