At least the web edition

Anyone know if the dead trees are out there?

Going to : "nypost.com" gets you a front page
which has a clickthrough to:

"edition (CA|NY)"

and yes, there's a real product there..

https://nypost.com/ca/

Yeah, they've been hiring for a few months. The job descriptions have been very "Okay, so we're the NY Post, but we are totally California, dawg? Kids still stay 'dawg,' right?"

I'm desperate enough that I'm considering applying for an editorial position.

I'm sure it will amuse Danny that they have a Dodgers beat writer.

Ha, I've noticed that after months of seeing job ads from them, they've just now started running ads without the company listed. (I don't fit their requirement for previous experience in a newsroom.)

They may not say the name out loud, but the logo gives it away.

They're paying on the lower end of the scale, but at least it's on the scale. Having the word "editor" somewhere in a title seems to indicate that companies will pay a living wage. On the other hand, if you see the word "coordinator," odds are the hirer is trying to get someone with at least 5 years' experience for less than an entry-level rate.

Spelling does not appear to be a requirement.
