Oh, all of Hawaii is on tsunami alert, as is Alaska and

Yup, I'm currently right on the coast (near Waikiki) but 16 floors up. Roads are completely gridlocked & I have no idea when I'll be able to drive home.

That's where I used to work. They were fairly good (ranked 2nd) until they were bought out 10 years ago. Automation & a large staff purge/Exodus followed. (myself included) It's probably seen as 3rd ranked these days.

Currently, I mostly get my TV news fix from Hawaii News Now.

Tsunami update: still no reports of major damage. Advisory remains in place for at least 3 more hours.
