TIL @embassydavies of @MenInBlazers has been the EP of @Jeopardy for a bit.  It totally explains the course corrections of the show which have led to this.   Thanks @luke_winkie for letting me know I should start watching #Jeopardy again.

Ike Barinholtz's success playing against "regular" contestants didn't completely come out of nowhere. For example, he's been a participant in LearnedLeague - an invitation-only online daily trivia competition that attracts a lot of "Jeopardy!" types - for about eight years now.
