My colleagues are remembering him with interesting stories like the time Chuck was a part of the NPR Broadcast team as an analyst for the landing of STS 1 the Space Shuttle Columbia landing at Edwards AFBin 1981. Well there was such a delay, after 45 minutes and with no end it sight, they went to what they were originally scheduled to do which was the weekly Red Barber chat and Chuck joined in.
