I was watching the Billy Joel special last night
and... they cut away during his perormance of
"Piano Man" back to local programming.

Ok, so it was running later than scheduled because
of the golf tournament, but WTF?

I figured it was just the local station here in
flyover country, but no, no, NO! CBS ended
the feed in the middle. [a]

Damn it. Is 1968 really that long ago? Oh, it is? Ugghh

And to think they'd warn us when the football games run long that 60 Minutes would be seen in it's entirety, followed by Murder, She Wrote, would be seen in their entirety, except on the West Coast when they would be seen at their normal time [/patsummerall].
