Charles Geschke, Adobe Systems co-founder, dies

Charles "Chuck" Geschke of Los Altos, one of the most prominent and respected
figures in Silicon Valley as co-founder of Adobe Systems, died after an ongoing
illness. His death was announced Friday morning.

Mr. Geschke's impact is vast. His launch of Adobe Systems with co-founder and
fellow Los Altos resident John Warnock introduced the
world to the endless possibilities of desktop publishing. The company's
products - Adobe Acrobat, InDesign, Photoshop and others - are household names
and used the world over.
