C&E Report for July 2024

This quarter at C&E we received host committee budgets from 2 of our 3 conventions next year, so our committee can mull over them for the next 3 months and make changes and suggestions as needed. I have briefly looked at one of them and was pleased with what I saw, in terms of numbers and the level of detail.

We also approved all three logos and themes for the upcoming 2025 conventions,
Clean & Free - The gift of Desperation.
WNIRCNA - One Promise, One Requirement.
PNWCNA - One Promise - Many Gifts.

We also worked through some new stamp guidelines as a group during the meeting, so that our entire committee could put in their 2 cents.

There were some initial proposals for WNIRCNA 2027, that would take place on the east side, but we think it would be prudent to complete the WNIRCNA 2024 audit and take some inventory of exactly happened with the structure of the convention and how we can improve.

It was brought to light that our region has access to a Google Workspace account and the secretary trainee will be setting it up, for our Conventions to put all of the minutes, financials, programs, and arts and graphics to put in info for conventions in the future to have easy access. An unnecessary amount of energy of went into finding previous programming, previous event summaries, and previous logos.

The Circle of Sisters Bid Committee attended C&E to request support from our Region for the 2027 Bid, starting by coming to C&E, followed by coming to RSC to get the same support from our region that they received last year.
