With the increased competition for education services, vulnerable members of the West Nile community are finding it increasingly difficult to access higher education.

Notably, the growing population needs services in critical areas such as health, education and technology. Therefore, it is with this background that the West Nile Foundation established the WNETF with the following objectives;

In addition to the above requirements factors such as consistency in performance, discipline, extracurricular talents, leadership and interest of the student will be considered. The applicants must be in a position to demonstrate these by providing proof and or recommendations.

Qualified students who meet all the above requirements should submit their applications to: The Chairman, Board of Trustees, West Nile Education Trust Fund and drop their applications at the Development House, Parliament Avenue, Room 4.12, or Gaagaa offices on Bombo road (Arua Park) where a receiving desk has been established for this purpose. All upcountry applicants can access the Gaagaa Coach offices nearest to them for onward delivery to the central collection point on Bombo road.

Please ensure that your application is properly sealed and contains the following; Application letter with email and phone contacts, Admission form from the University, Recommendation letters from your LC 1 Chairperson and Religious Leader of your Community Church/Mosque, Photocopy of the O and A level result slips, National Identity Card and or Birth Certificate.
