West Nile Foundation/West Nile Education Trust Fund 2018 Scholarship Recipients Announcement.

The West Nile Foundation, through its subsidiary, the West Nile Education Trust Fund, is happy to announce 6 (Six) scholarship recipients for the university academic year 2018.

Through the West Nile Education Trust Fund, we were able to award the following applicants with a full tuition scholarship for the entire duration of their studies:-

1. Padria Paul, Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery, MUST
2. Onenchan Innocent, Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery, MUK
3. Anyama Akomi Jonathan, Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery, MUK
4. Munguleni Jonathan, Bachelor of Civil Engineering, MUK
5. Drileba Sunday, Bachelor of Pharmacy, MUK
6. Madera Vivian, Bachelor of Pharmacy, MUST

The scholarship for all these beneficiaries is Ugx 20,518,100 (Uganda Shillings Twenty Million Five Hundred Eighteen Thousand One hundred shillings) per academic year. We commit to walk this journey with the aforementioned recipients.

We thank all members of the West Nile Foundation, partners, and friends of the West Nile Education Trust Fund for your selfless support to this Fund.

A little contribution makes a big impact in the lives of the so many unprivileged brothers and sisters in our region.

I am glad to know that you offer to mentor and support these students while at the University. This is very crucial as the condition of the scholarship is that one must continue to excel and exhibit good character, and be at service of humanity. In addition to the two new entrants, we also have Hanani Baba, third year pharmacy student at MUST.

I appeal to other colleagues in MUK and Gulu University to volunteer to mentor these students.

This is extremely  good news for West Nile. I am so happy to hear that two recipients are for MUST.I will be on the lookout for them, and as Patron to the West Nile students association I promise to monitor the two for behavior and academics.
