Proxy pains Setting up Ruby on Rails on Windows

Hi ,

While setting up Ruby on Rails on windows ,, while updating the bundles my command prompt was unable to connect to internet. I think there might be some proxy pains. I use CC proxy . Tried setting up proxy on command prompt  using netsh .. 

But couldn't sort out the problem
Can someone help me out ?

in cmd prompt, setup the environment using following commands


$ SET HTTP_PROXY=proxyserver:proxyport
$ SET HTTP_PROXY_USER=username
$ SET HTTP_PROXY_PASS=pass
