Configuration details of Mozilla Thunderbird for IITB gpo account

I used the configuration settings given at http://www.cc.iitb.ac.in/engfaqgeneinf/engldap I am able to receive all of the emails however when I try to send an email I get the message 

"An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded:  4.7.1 <email>: Relay access denied. Please check the message recipient email and try again."

These are my configurations:

Outgoing Server:

Server Name: smtp-auth.iitb.ac.in

Port: 25

Authentication method: Password, transmitted insecurely

Connection Security: None

Incoming Server

Server Name: imap.iitb.ac.in

Port: 143

Authentication method: Password, transmitted insecurely

Connection Security: None

Any solution?

Seems to be working fine for me, here are my settings as seen in Edit > Account Settings:

and here are the ones for outgoing server:

Obviously you have to change the username :)
