Launching the WnCC Competitive Coding Group

Hello everyone,

Competitive Programming as a sport is pretty interesting and we have several people who love coding algorithms more than developing apps. Generally, both the groups - the competitive coders and the developers are disjoint (there are exceptions though). So, to facilitate a strong community of competitive coders, we are launching a separate group (separate, so that no one gets spammed - the new group is going to be pretty active). You can join this group by sending a request to:

As of now several sophies have joined this group. I urge all others who are interested to join in.

We'll be launching several small and large contests and having discussions on this group. Plus, this group will keep track of all the competitive coding activities around the institute, so you can make sure that you're always notified.

Today, we're also releasing our first competition, which will commence today at 9:00 PM and will last for 24 hours. This will happen on SPOJ and there will be a rank-list, which will be local to our insti junta. So, you're all encouraged to participate.
