sip in scilab

hi,
 i am new to scilab. i installed imagemagick, animal and sip in my ubuntu. sip is loading fine in scilab but when i write
mat=imread('test.jpg');
it shows an error msg :
 !--error 999
imread: no decode delegate for this image format `test.jpg.

what might be the problem here??

Hi,

Try to import with SIVP toolbox in scilab. Both the version should compatible with each other. Otherwise, after importing also also it wont work.
