did you have any php files with upload directory?
I recently came across someone who's bighome was (sort of) hacked and a malicious script was running from the /upload directory
check if the directory listing is fine
if you find any suspicious files, inform CC folks immediately

I made my own webpage on BIGHOME IITB.
Till last month it was fine but from last month whenever I try to acess it,it say that "you dont have permission.. blah blah".
And also when I try to open my folder in Windows Explorer, there also it shows that "there is some problem in FTP server ,make sure that oyu have permission to acess ." nd I can not open that folder and also can not transfer files.

Attached Images are Screenshots.

So can I resolve this issue ? Please suggest me if any solution of this issue exists.

Thanks

@Sudhi: How's he going to test directory listing is he can't log in?

This has been a pretty common occurrence on bighome. I have had numerous "support requests" of this exact same behaviour, and have personally experienced ofttimes. Makes me think twice every time I need to put something up.

Simple solution... Use FTP and access your files.. Right click on directory concerned and change access setting to 777 ... Or google right code..

@Anup: Windows Explorer uses FTP. (Agreed, sans the many fancy features.)

Whenever this happened, I noted that it was the bighome ftp server denying access at login. I doubt any FTP client in the whole wide world can force a misbehaving server.

You contact cc.

It's not a problem of public_html not being accessible. It's a problem your account authentication failing (admittedly wrongly).

Just tell the cc guys these two things:
1) "I can't login (from any ftp client. Wanna check? Sure.)"
2) "The HTTP server doesn't show my site."

While you're at it, do mention that it's a rather common occurrence.
