Virtual hosting

Hi,
       i have xampp server. i want virtual hosting by using this in my collage campus with static ip not with domain name which i have . i want virtual hosting not only my laptop but also anybody in campus network can access it by entering my ip address, please give me brief description of virtual hosting which-2 file i have to configure and how?? i have little bit idea of that but not complete, so please help me to do this .
