Dear All,
The FOSSEE project based at IIT Bombay invites the community to SciPy India 2013.
SciPy is being held from 13-15 December 2013 at IIT Bombay.
SciPy India is an annual conference on using Python for science and
engineering research and education. The conference is currently in its
fifth year and provides an opportunity to learn and use Python in
education and research.
Python is an interactive, easy to learn, open source, extensible
programming language that is well suited for a variety of tasks including
scientific computing. It is likely that you will find Python to be an
effective (and often superior) substitute for commercial tools used in
your institution. To know more about Python, please visit http://www.python.org/

IITB Faculty, Students and Staff may attend the conference talks and tutorials without registration.
However, if you wish to avail SciPy India 2013 goodies such as T-shirt, Kit, Lunch and Snacks,
we recommend you to kindly confirm your participation by registering.
Please find enclosed a poster for the event. We look forward to your participation in SciPy India 2013. We also request you to kindly share this with your faculty members, students and other interested parties.
