Dear All,

So the first introductory ACM ICPC Contest is scheduled on Friday  9:00 pm.
This is primarily an introductory contest so people who haven't yet tried their hands on ACM ICPC in the previous years must surely attend.
So primarily sophomores and people attempting ACM ICPC for the first time are encouraged to participate.

After the contest, we will have a discussion on all the problems, solve various doubts, useful approaches to solve problem of a particular genre etc.
We will as well put an editorial later discussing the solutions of some crucial problems.

The competition will be conducted on hackerrank, so make sure you guys have an account on http://www.hackerrank.com
The link of the contest will be put up shortly before the contest.

Looking forward to your presence!

Warm Regards,
Sushant Hiray,
Manager WnCC

Dear All,

Since quite a few people were having an intern test and requested us to start a bit late, we are shifting the start time of the contest to 10:00 pm.
You can register for the contest from this link .

We will be having the editorial session, discussing all the problems tomorrow. Time for which will be posted shortly.

Warm Regards,
Sushant Hiray,

Dear All,

We saw a great turnout amongst the first time participants for ACM ICPC.
The contest saw 51 registrations with 46 active participants.

The final standings:
1) Aditya Kumar Akash
2) Pratyaksh Sharma
3) Abhishek Thakur

All of them solved equal number of problems, and the standings are sorted via penalty incurred due to wrong submissions.

Some stats: Total Submissions: 100
                   Accepted Submissions: 46

We had tried to cover some of the basic genres of problem categories namely:
Strings, DP, Graphs, Divide and Conquer Paradigm, Problems with O(1) solution

We thank the problem setters: Raghav Gupta, Navin Chandak and Mohit Gupta for sparing their time to set the problems and test them for the introductory practice competition.

The editorials are finally out and are attached with the mail!
If there are any issues you can shoot them to me. I will redirect to the problem setter.

Regards,
Sushant Hiray,
Manager WnCC
